810 pass PMA entrance exam
MANILA, Philippines–Eight hundred ten of 4,999 examinees, or around 16 percent, passed the 2007 entrance examinations for the Philippine Military Academy (PMA), a spokesman for the country’s premiere military training institution said Sunday.
Passing the exams is the first step towards entering the PMA. The 810 who passed the exam will have to undergo medical, physical, and neuro-psychiatric examinations, and a panel interview to qualify for one of about 300 cadetship slots, Captain Dennis Solomon said.
The 810 hopefuls will be notified by mail or telegram on the schedule of further exams, the spokesman said.
